Waste not.... !
So… the first thing you notice when you start a business is… packaging!!! Everything comes wrapped, packed and stacked with soooooooo much packaging! Do you want your delivery to arrive safely and undamaged? Absolutely! But how can M&B promote being ‘heart happy’, with genuine connection, without getting ‘real’ about sustainable practices.
In the M&B Studio, we try really hard to reduce, reuse, recycle (and compost) whatever we can. We collect all our rainwater on-site and have solar panels to offset our power use. All our waste water goes onto the vegie patch or is reticulated to water the lawn. If we can’t find a reusable item, we preference recycled or biodegradable products. Not everyone has this kind of set up, but please know… every little thing counts!
